Ag Market Network

The Ag Market Network monthly conference call was created in 1998 as a joint venture of state extension services to furnish cotton producers an improved flow of marketing information following the monthly US production reports and World Agricultural Supply/Demand Estimates.  The conference call format used since inception required producers to gather either at marketing clubs, extension service, county agent or gin offices to hear opinions and/or latest views from well known cotton merchants or analysts.  Now through a special arrangement you may listen to our live broadcast. Producers can listen live in their pickups or from their laptop rather than at a conference table.  The broadcasts can be heard live world-wide over the internet or retrieved on a replay basis from the Ag Market Network website. The conference call can be accessed by computer anywhere from coffee shops to board rooms globally.

The Ag Market Network conference call regularly features a cotton panel comprised of well known analysts, Dr. O.A. Cleveland, Dr. Carl Anderson and Mike Stevens. Listeners have the option of participating at their marketing clubs, extension service offices or listening over the radio or internet. An 800 number is always provided for listeners to ask questions concerning marketing strategies or market opinions.

The monthly conference call is made possible in part by sponsorship from Cotton Incorporated, Bayer Crop Science, Rosenthal-Collins and with assistance from  “All Ag All Day” and Plains Cotton Growers, Inc.
