Hosted jointly by the New Mexico State University Cooperative Extension Service and Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service, this educational forum is tailored for beef producers and was established to provide timely information annually, about current industry issues and practical management.

The event is held in January and alternates between locations in New Mexico and Texas. The 2015 Southwest Beef Symposium hosted by Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service was held January 14-15 at the Wyndham Garden Hotel in Amarillo.
