(MILWAUKEE, WI) Equipment manufacturers are basking in the glow of good industry growth in agricultural machine sales. According to the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) all categories recorded year-to-date growth as 2018 closed out. December year-to-date (YTD) sales of self-propelled combines increased 18 percent growth and YTD sales of 4-wheel-drive tractors gained 13 percent in the domestic market. In addition, sales of 2-wheel-drive tractors for December year-to-date grew seven percent; under-40 horsepower (HP) tractors gained nine percent; 40-100 HP tractors increased almost two percent, and 100-plus HP tractors grew more than five percent.
