The official comment period for a national Animal Disease Traceability framework closed at midnight on Monday, but not before many industry groups submitted ideas to USDA’s Animal Plant Health Inspection Service.

Ag Groups Request Livestock Hearing by Senate Committee

The United States Cattlemen’s Association, National Farmers Union, and eleven other organizations have sent a letter to the Senate Agriculture Committee requesting a hearing on livestock mandatory price reporting reauthorization.
